Questions about the Workshop

Can I use my professional-development allowance for this?

Many directors have an individual professional-development allowance as part of their board role, which may be available to put towards this workshop – depending on how your board role and allowance are structured. Check with your chair or company secretary.

Do I need any AI experience beforehand?

No. The workshop starts from real, practical examples rather than theory – live demos and case studies bring generative AI to life, even if you've never used it before.

Where is the venue?

Sessions run in Brisbane CBD. We confirm the exact venue and address once you've registered, generally about a week out from the session.

What do I need to bring?

Just yourself, ready to engage. All workshop materials are provided, and there's no need to bring your own AI subscription.

Will this assess my organisation?

No. The Workshop develops your own understanding using synthetic, director-relevant material. It doesn't use your board's confidential material or produce any organisation-specific finding.

How does this differ from the Board AI Briefing?

The Board AI Briefing is free and passive – you listen and ask questions. The AI for Directors Workshop is paid and interactive – you work through realistic board material with live examples throughout, alongside directors from other boards.

Strengthen your AI judgement as a director

Half a day, real tools, and sharper questions for directors, CEOs, AFRC members and senior execs.
